POSITION SUMMARY

TNDC is seeking Heavy Duty Mechanics to support operations at the Skeena mine site in Northern British Columbia. Reporting to the Regional Fleet Manager, you will work a 14/14 rotation in a remote camp environment, performing preventative maintenance and major repairs on a variety of equipment, including heavy-duty, light-duty, auxiliary, and stationary mining equipment.

You are safety-focused, adaptable to remote work conditions, and bring experience maintaining equipment in mining or industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting equipment, troubleshooting, and planning sequence of repair operations

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Vice President, Construction, the Director, Preconstruction will establish, build, and lead TNDC's preconstruction function across heavy civil, mining, industrial, and infrastructure projects including estimating, planning, and scheduling. The role is responsible for developing winning project strategies, ensuring accurate and competitive estimates, and creating executable project plans that support successful delivery.

Position Summary

The Road Maintenance Supervisor is the on-ground owner and coordinator of TNDC’s Road Maintenance activities for Skeena Gold and Silver along the Coast Mountain Hydro access road (0 km to 52 km; overlap to 54 km).

This position is a direct boots-on-the-ground role with TNDC reporting to Skeena Gold and Silver Site Maintenance. The role ensures safe, passable travel on the Mine Access Road (MAR)/ CMH Access road and supporting areas, manages the roster of equipment and personnel, coordinates with Security, Safety, Avalanche, CMH, and external partners, and leads continuous improvement of operations.

The supervisor will balance daily travel-day priorities (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) with heavier activity days such as concrete pours, avalanche closures, and weather events, while maintaining clear communications, documented incident reports, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. TNDC is seeking a Road Maintenance Supervisor to help ensure road maintenance is completed safely, on time, and meeting client expectations, while still upholding our core values: Safety, Tahltan-Centered, Integrity, Respect, Trust and the Pursuit of Excellence.

In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between TNDC’s operators, Construction management, and financial controls—all while coordinating onsite maintenance activities and assisting with administrative processes. You’ll work closely with the construction managers, multiple stakeholders (CMH, BCH, Skeena, TNDC, Etc.), and our project controls teams to deliver high-quality results that align with TNDC’s mission of sustainable and responsible business practices.

• Operational Leadership and Route Management

• Direct and schedule the following equipment (may change throughout season): One (1) primary grader, One (1) 1 backup grader, One (1) underbelly plow/sander, One (1) support loader, and snowblower support from Skeena after snowfall.
• You will be tasked to track equipment availability, uptime, preventative maintenance, and any required repairs daily; coordinate with Skeena for snowblower augmentation when needed.
• Oversee traction-aggregate stockpiling, ditch clean-up, windrow management, and sign/roadway infrastructure readiness (jersey barriers, culvert inlets/outlets, etc.)
• Safety, Compliance, and Incident Response
• Enforce safety policies (FLHA/JHA), ensure risk assessments are completed prior to pulls, and coordinate with Skeena Safety for high-risk incidents or avalanche-related closures.
• Implement chain-up enforcement with clear signage; manage retrieval and safe egress of stuck vehicles; ensure lines of communication for incident reporting and escalation to on-shift contacts.
• Ensure proper radio discipline and protocols; ensure timely Level of Emergency Management (LEM) deliveries and coordination with Avalanche techs for road closures.
• Communications and Stakeholder Engagement
• Serve as the primary TNDC on-site point of contact during winter events; maintain the communications matrix, including regular updates to Safety, Operations, CMH, Security, and Avalanche teams.
• Produce and distribute road condition reports, daily concern lists, and after-action summaries; maintain logs of closures, weather conditions, and incidents.
• Coordinate with site buses and transport routes (camp to site, Terrace to site, Smithers to site) to ensure readiness for inclement weather and accurate route condition reporting.
• Monitoring, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement
• Monitor road conditions, weather forecasts, and activity schedules; provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Track and report equipment utilization, response times, and route coverage; identify opportunities for process improvements and cost controls.
• Maintain a “Fair Weather Hit List” of priority maintenance activities (road repairs, ditch cleanup, windrow widening) and execute when feasible.
• Collaboration with External and Internal Teams
• Work with Avalanche, CMH, Security, and Safety on road closures, safety zones, and closures within avalanche corridors; ensure dual management as required.
• Maintain knowledge of 46 km Camp interactions and ensure that all interactions with facilities (Quarry at 43 km, Batch Plant at 45 km, 52 km battery limit) are clear, accessible, and well-maintained.
• Administrative & Compliance Duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical coursework in transportation, civil infrastructure, heavy equipment operation, or related field is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.
• 5+ years in winter maintenance, fleet operations, or related field with demonstrated leadership experience; experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams is preferred.

• Reporting to the Maintenance Manager or designate, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities.

POSITION SUMMARY

Join TNDC as a Morooka Track Dump Driver and play a key role in supporting construction and mining operations on a project site in Northern British Columbia. In this position, you will safely and efficiently transport materials across the project site while contributing to a productive, safety-focused, and high-performing team environment.

Working on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule with 12-hour workdays, this role includes daily fly-in/fly-out travel to the worksite from camp. RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the site supervisor, or designate, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Supervisor or designate, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Perform general labour duties such as site preparation, material handling, digging, grading, and cleanup.

·         Fueling and monitoring generators or heaters safely.

·         Assisting with loading/unloading of supplies or manual labour.

·         Setting up barricades or signage in low-visibility or slippery areas.

·         Assist trades and equipment operators with construction, repairs, and installations.

·         Perform pre-shift trip safety inspections and complete daily equipment reports.

Position Summary:

Join TNDC as a Supervisor on a project site in Northern British Columbia, where you’ll lead daily field operations and play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality work. Reporting to the General Foreman, you’ll coordinate crews, collaborate with project teams and clients, and drive performance on site.

This role is ideal for someone with solid civil earthworks experience, including underground utility installation, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Working a rotational schedule with 12-hour days, you’ll be part of a safety-focused team committed to operational excellence and project success.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

·         Implement and maintain a safe workplace program and ensure that safety is the highest priority.
